Rock climbing is an increasingly popular sport. There are many rooms that open. To stand out, some companies need to innovate. That’s why we can now climb churches or dams. Today, I will present some original places to climb and have fun.
Diga del Luzzone
This dam is the longest artificial climbing wall in the world! The dam is 165 meters high and consists of more than 650 resin plugs. To climb you have to go to the restaurant near the dam and fill out a form. The climb costs around 18 € and you have to deposit a caution of 90 €. The difficulty is growing. When you start climbing it’s easy. Arrived towards the middle the difficulty is more important. To climb the dam, you have to learn how to save yourself.
The former St Benedict’s Church
John Dunne, a world-renowned mountaineer, had the idea to turn this church into a climbing center. The height of the church allowed to create climbing walls of more than 20m. There are 75 ways to climb and of different levels. There is also a block space.
Grope Mountain
The Grope Mountain project was launched in 2015 at the Museum of Sex in New York as part of FUNLAND. As you can see in the picture, the hold is in the form of a penis, breasts or female sex. It may sound shocking, but there is a real moral behind this project. Designers want to pay tribute to the beauty of the human body and help us accept our forms and our sexuality.

Yes you are held by a rope. But you have to belay stance because the rope is too short to reach the top.
